The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower initiative provides a globally recognised communication tool (the Sunflower) for people with non-visible disabilities, providing each person with a discreet way to indicate they may need a bit more time, help or assistance without explanation. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme Australia and New Zealand are actively seeking businesses to join the Sunflower initiative by subscribing on Staff have access to (3) short awareness videos to help people understand what the Sunflower represents and how to support. The business becomes a Sunflower Friendly destination welcoming all!


Humanitix is AITCAP ticketing platform and there are very good reasons why! Not only is it an excellent technical platform for any type of event, Humanitix is also registered charity so booking fees cover costs, and everything else goes to their education projects. The 2024 AITCAP Business Hub will feature a Digital Accessibility Experience Lab hosted by OZeWAI, the Australian Web Accessibility Initiative. 
Delegates can get hands-on, to learn about the ‘what, why and how’ of digital accessibility and how technology impacts the user experience, as well as test the accessibility of their organisation’s website.

Access Easy English

Access Easy English is internationally recognised and leads the world in best practice accessible written information for all.

Access Easy English development has an average of grade 1.5 reading equivalence, supported by clear and specific images. It is for any person with low literacy.


44% of the adult Australian population do not have the literacy to manage a range of day to day reading tasks. Easy English increases access to everyone to know about your services, events and activities. Creating any content to Easy English, including website development. They offer training and other implementation supports.
